Welcome to the next generation of wood post caps. Smartly constructed from one solid block of wood, these miterless post caps are not manufactured with any fasteners or glue - the block is routed out to create the post cap molding.
These post caps are availalbe in Ipe, an extremely weather resistant Brazilian hardwood. Ipe naturally resists rot, decay, insects, and mold without the use of chemicals. It is naturally fire resistant and has been awarded an "A1" rating for the best decay resistance - high 25+ years. Additionally, Ipe is an incredibly strong and dense wood harvested from naturally sustainable forests.
Yellowstone Miterless Post Caps are also available in Western Red Cedar and Pressure Treated Pine woods.
