Tiger Claw's unique fastener securely attaches decking boards using "claws" to grab the edge of board in such a way that no fasteners are visible. The fastener is secured to the support frame with a common decking screw. Reduced cupping, splitting, and cracking are benefits associated with this hidden fastener. Installation is quick and easy, without the need of any special tools.

Inspect decking material prior to installation. Omit any planks that contain hooks, twists, splits, cracks, or other defects. Always install decking with the crown upward.
Recommended for use in 5/4" or thicker decking. If using pre-grooved decking be sure that the groove is the correct dimension and location on the board so that it is compatible with the TC-G fastener. A router or biscuit joiner can be used to create grooves in solid edge decking. You can also purchase the Tiger Claw Slot Cutter (sold separately) to create this groove.

Unfortunately, due to the properties of the following materials, the TC-G is not recommend for: Pressure Treated Pine, Decking Material prone to high shrinkage, Hollow Composite decking, Decking boards less than 7/8" thick.
