Return and Ordering Policy

In order to keep our prices low we must have all returns authorized by us in advance and meet the following requirements: 

All returns must be made within 14 days of the receipt of your item(s) and a copy of the invoice must be included in the package with the returned merchandise.  Please send us an email or call us prior to returning any items to receive an RMA number.  Returns sent to us with out an RMA number will not be processed or refunded - NO EXCEPTIONS.  We promise we will not try to "talk you into keeping it" or give you a hard time about the return!  We need RMA numbers for inventory tracking and accounting purposes.

All returns will be subject to a 15% - 20% restocking charge (variance depends on the individual product) with a minimum charge of $15.00. We understand no one likes to pay these charges however they are again a necessity in order to keep general product pricing low.  All returns must be unused, in original condition, and determined by us to be suitable for resale.  All returns must be packed in the original containers with all packing material included.  Items returned that are not in mint, re-sellable condition will not receive credit.  Credit card payments will be credited back to your account within 21 days of receipt of the accepted return of merchandise. Deck Accent is not responsible for return shipping costs unless the return was from a result of a Deck Accent error.  Any shipping damage incurred on a standard, customer initiated return will need to be reimbursed from the carrier to the customer directly.  Refunds will be given based on the purchase price only - shipping charges are non-refundable.

Unfortunately, special order items may not be returned for any reason.  If you would like to cancel a special order item before you receive it, please call or email us immediately. We will check the status of your order and if has not been processed, we will cancel it.  If the item has been processed, we will not be able to cancel the order or refund the purchase price. 

Returned items that shipped for free will have the original shipping charges deducted from the return credit.  This applies on items that are normally marked as free shipping as well as items that shipped free via a promotion code.

Due to the nature of our orders, credit cards will be charged at the time of the online sale transaction and used as a deposit for the order.  Also, if you had chosen an expedited shipping method such as Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air, the product will be shipped via that shipping method once the item is completed and ready for shipment.
